Convergent Ventures works side-by-side with company founders, start-up managers, and investors to build new businesses. We advise owner-entrepreneurs and engage directly on a broad range of issues, including, but not limited to, company formation, technology transfer and development, business strategy, fund raising, and general management. As a hands-on executive team member, we also engage in operations, business development, strategic partnering, marketing, and sales. Convergent's founder, Bill Robbins, is a serial entrepreneur in the life sciences and a published expert on entrepreneurship and academic spin-outs. An avid cyclist, skier, and tactical gear enthusiast, Bill is also Founder and General Manager of Convergent Cycling & Performance Products, a sales and marketing management company. In addition to building start-ups and advising business owners, Bill serves on the Coulter Foundation Oversight Committee for Translational Research in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California and is a member of the National Board of Directors of the American Technion Society, the largest private source of funding for the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
